Join a workshop

From September to May we offer classes and workshops for you to hone your artistic skills, meet new people and have fun.  Classes and workshops are held at the Treasure Island Community Center, 154 106th Ave., Treasure Island.  Please bring your own supplies.  

Thursday: Still Life Workshop, facilitated by Carol Allmen

Location: Treasure Island Community Center, 

                  156 - 106 Ave., Treasure Island, FL 33706 

Time:         10 - 12 pm. 

Still Life will be set up, or you can work on your own project.  Bring your own supplies.

$10 members/ $15 non-members

Fridays:  The Portrait Workshop, Facilitated by Peggy Stein

Location: Suntan Art Center, 411 19th Street South, St. Petersburg, FL 33712

Time:         9:15 am - 12:00 pm. 

$10 members/ $15 non-members 

Lighting, composition, subject and emotion are some of the elements of a good portrait. Using your medium of choice, create a portrait from a live model.  Models pose for 20 minutes followed by a 10-minute break for the 2 1/2-hour workshop.
